Instant Pot Chocolate Peanut Butter Steel Cut Oats

If you don't have quick steel cut oats or you want to meal prep breakfast for an easy grab and go option, try this recipe in the Instant Pot!

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cup traditional steel cut oats
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 4 tbsp powdered peanut butter real nut butter works as well
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp dairy-free dark chocolate chips

Toppings

  • drizzle of maple syrup
  • chopped walnuts
  • additional chocolate chips
  • splash of dairy-free creamer

Instructions
 

  • Add water and oats into the Instant Pot.
  • Set to High Pressure for 3 minutes, making sure the pressure release valve is closed.
  • It will take about 10 minutes for the Instant Pot to come to pressure.
  • Once the 3 minute cooking time is done, natural release the pressure for 20 minutes, then quick release if there is any pressure left.
  • Add in the remaining ingredients, stir and enjoy!

Notes

This makes 4 servings, great for meal prep! 
Serve in air-tight containers in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
